Before becoming a freelance translator, I worked in several companies in France and abroad. Thanks to all the job positions I performed, I was in contact with suppliers and clients of different nationalities. I updated and improved various communication media such as websites, contracts, and other administrative papers in three languages.
Now as a freelance translator, I translate from English, German, and Portuguese into French - my mother tongue - any kind of text in the following areas: technical, international business, sports and leisure, tourism, art, marketing, and legal.
Dynamic, I like challenges and I am always ready to be committed to new projects. Combining my work experience and my multidisciplinary background, I will translate and improve the communication media of your projects.
French is my mother tongue and the foreign languages are for me a real passion. I remain on constant watch to improve my translation work and to meet your needs.
Born in Germany, in Villingen-Schwenningen, I have always been attracted by this country. Throughout my schooling, I stayed in several host families' home in Ulm, Munich, Potsdam, Berlin, and Düsseldorf.
At the university in Nantes, I was acting in German in the theatre association called "ACTE Allemand". We performed presentations at the university's festivals in Nantes (France) and in Magdeburg (Germany).
I began learning English from a very early age thanks to an after-school working group "English for kids". I kept learning English and the related culture during my studies.
I stayed in Guernsey and Toronto in host families' home. I worked one year in the Geelong Grammar School in Australia as a French assistant.
I started learning Portuguese in high school. I know the Portuguese culture as well as the Brazilian one, since my high school teachers were from Portugal and my university lecturers were from Brazil.
I have studied one year in the university of Minho in Braga in Portugal, where I mixed with both Portuguese and Brazilian students. I still keep in touch with them and we communicate using Portuguese language. Furthermore, my sister-in-law is from Rio de Janeiro and we also speak in Portuguese together.
I ensure that the projects - which you have entrusted me - will be performed by me guaranteeing a direct , transparent, and reliable relationship.
I translate from English, German, or Portuguese into French. I have been trained in technical, legal, and editorial translation.
Thanks to my deep knowledge of international marketing, I am able to translate your marketing material in order to ideally adapt them to the French market.
I will review the translated text comparing it to the original version in order to detect mistranslations, omissions, or other translation mistakes.
Whether your text is directly written in or translated into French, I check the spelling, the grammar, the syntax, etc.
